*Profile

I am responsible for research and development for quality improvement and assurance in university education. I focus especially on effective teaching methods, faculty development, and organizational support for quality teaching and learning. Recently I finally developed the Japanese version of Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education with my colleagues. I teach professional courses, "Organization and Leadership in Higher Education" and "Student Development in the Higher Education"at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. I also enjoy teaching a freshman seminar.
